About Vampire: the Requiem 2nd Edition:

Tonight, you become one of the Kindred, the beautiful and the damned who hide behind our ordinary world. Driven by a hunger like fire, you will struggle to maintain your humanity while immersed in a vicious society of monsters.

But the sharks you swim with aren’t the only ones out there. Your Kindred are the smart, sexy vampires of pop culture, but you are haunted by the Strix -- the grisly, demon-possessed corpses of folklore. They slaughtered the Night-Senate of Rome, drowned the tombs of the Princes of Alexandria, and warred with the Plague Lords of Transylvania.

Tonight, in Vampire: the Requiem 2nd Edition, they’re loose on the streets of your city. Time for the sinners to become the saints, and the hunters to become the prey.

Also available for Vampire: the Requiem 2nd Edition:

Check out the Strix Chronicle Fiction Anthology a collection that unveils the schemes and atrocities of Kindred and Strix alike. These are the tales of those whom even monsters fear.

The Vampire: the Requiem 2nd Edition Condition Cards are also available to provide an easy and fun way to use Conditions at your gaming table.

Note: This was previlously published as Blood and Smoke Storyteller's Screen, now retitled.

No physical screen? Why is this not a FREE PDF then? I'm trying to get into Requiem, but Masquerade seems to have all the actual support. You guys need to get it together. I will not pay money for a collection of tables, not ever. Horrid product.

I don't get a physical copy of the storyteller screen? So I am just paying for a collection of charts out of a book that I already own? If I have to provide my own screen part to it then I will just make the entire thing on my own. This really should just be a product included with the core book. The whole point to a screen is to have a screen, it serves as a barrier between the players and the ST and then gives the ST easy access to charts. Most people can probably pick what charts they want to use in a chronicle, screenshot them, organize them as they wish, and then print them out. I believe if you own the product you can make photocopies for personal use.

This is a great collection of all the charts you would need during play. The only thing I found missing is the suggested modifiers for Frenzy from the rule book (pg. 104). I hope they put out a print version of this some time, because I would buy it. Until then, I just paper clip these print outs to my Buffy rpg GM's Screen ;-)

According to the preview, this screen is in portrait orientation, right? Any info on a landscape orientated version available?

At present, no. I looked on the Onyx Path website, and the question was asked there. Their printers don't currently have the capability to print screens presently, but they are searching for a way.

You can simply have this as an "easy access folder" of charts when you play. No need for a screen which tends to detract to the perfomance of a storyteller who hides behind a screen. :P

I noticed on the newly-released Stars Without Number Revised GM Screen that "Premium portrait GM Screen Insert(s)" is now an option, so it would be nice to see Onyx Path eventually update these for that!

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.
Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
