The material is lacking any explanation of the specific Psychic Powers for the premade Psyker. Only Smite is listed in one of the NPC profiles, but according to the Core rules, it scales with statistics and is therefore not helpful.

Apologies for the double question, but is there an explainer for the Tokens anywhere that I am missing? I have been searching through the documents and all over the place online and have found no answers, only a lot of autocompletes and other people asking. Is there a chance this might be explained in the missing Handouts sheet, which is currently a duplicate of the Rules Reference?

>The Inquisitorial Seal is a prop that can be used at the table.
>The smallest tokens can be used for tracking ammunition.
>The Character Portrait and Environmental Trait tokens can be used if the GM is using a battle map, or to remind the table what Environmental Traits are active.
>The Superiority Tokens can be used to track the party's Superiority.
>The remaining Tokens (Gold Helmed Skull) are intended to be Fate Tokens; flipped over when used, handed back to the GM when burned, there should be enough to cover a full party.

I wanted to pick this up, but for what group side is this starter set and the included adventure suited? Will it work with only 3 players and a GM or do I need more?

The starter set is for groups sized 2-6 players. The adventure can still be enjoyed to its fullest with a party size of 3.

The Gatefolds character sheet summary of Fate Points and their uses doesn't indicate to players that they can use Fate to give themselves advantage before a roll. Arguably this is one of the most useful (and most widely used) mechanics, especially for new players, so this really should be updated to include it as well.

There are some omissions and errors on the Rules Reference Sheet. ***
1. On the 3rd page, the Combat Reference Sheet, and the 5th page, the Criticals and Wounds Reference Sheet, the result of your Wounds equaling or exceeding your Maximum Wounds is incorrect. ***The Sheet currently states that “You go Prone” and “If you aren’t healed within a number of Rounds equal to your Toughness Bonus (the tens digit of your Toughness Characteristic), you fall Unconscious until you heal at least 1 Wound.” *** Actually, the rule from the Core Rulebook has two consquences: A. On your Turn you may Move or take an Action, but not both. This effect lasts until you heal at least 1 Wound. *** B. You must make a Challenging (+0) Fortitude (Pain) Test or fall Unconscious. Repeat this Test each time you receive further Wounds. You don't regain consciousness until you heal at least 1 Wound. *** Also going Prone is not automatic. It is a possible condition on several of the Critical Charts, but doesn’t occur automatically....See more

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
