Star Trek Adventures BRIEFS PDF 008 Spacewrecks

Goblin Quest RPG (132 pages, at DriveThruRPG) is not just for goblins. It contains a “hack” for Space Interns (Star Trek). I created sixteen characters because some of these guys/gals were wearing red shirts and you know what that means. For my adventure, I used Star Trek Adventures – Mission Briefs – Spacewrecks – Adventure one of ten (same place, free/pay what you want). I used GEMulator as the solo engine. The adventure started with the low ranking PCs beaming down to a Federation ship which had crashed there 100 years ago. Well, the wreck is now a shrine for the people who live in the area. A security red shirt (no diplomacy skills) tried to explain to the villagers why they were there. A villager yelled “Blasphemy!” and stabbed the PC with a knife. So, a battle started and two PCs died. The PCs did manage to stun a villager with a phaser pistol. The villagers fled when they saw that. No PCs died when they travelled through the wreckage. They were able to remove the dilithium crystals, but one...See more PC died because of the radiation.

Next, they started to walk to the village. The PCs were attacked by a beast and four more PCs died. At the village, the PCs tried to convince the villagers to hand over the radioactive items that they had. No one died, but there was some yelling and shoving. The items got transported up to the ship. Next, the PCs discovered a diseased villager. He was healed by the medic, but the medic got infected and he had to go back to the ship to be quarantined. At this point, Marcus the PC fell in love with a villager. She was not allowed up to the ship, so he decided he would stay on the planet with her. Well, poor Marcus then discovered an alien spy and Marcus was killed. For the final scene, the PCs go back down to the planet and investigate why Marcus is not responding to communications. They do find the alien spy. The alien is killed, but two more PCs die. So for the final score, 16 went down, 10 were killed, and six PCs survived. Give this a try!

Two of the mission briefs, Treasure of the Spindrift & Cat's Meow have the same stardate in the Opening Entry Log of 3689.4. Is this an error?
