In this new expansion for Sacrifice: An Incense & Iron RPG, players and Game Masters can explore No Man’s Land through two new fully fleshed out scenarios written by industry veterans, and a whole new type of sandbox scenario designed by Alex T., Author of Sacrifice.

Chronicles, Vol. I features:
- False Teeth, written & illustrated by Imad Otallah. A lost, cursed relic, an ambitious bishop and his lackeys, a terrified town, and a whole lot of misery to be unleashed unto the world. What can go wrong?
- The Forlorn Forest, written & illustrated by Perplexing Ruins. The Player Characters find themselves lost in a twisting, strange forest. They will soon discover that they’re not alone there though: fanatical cultists, trapped inquistors, ancient forest demigods, wicked fairies and more, all come together to tell a tale of forbidden places beyond the Veil in the classic Folk Horror style.
- Three Unfolding Scenarios written by Alex T. These sandbox stories present an evolving plot for players to deal with (or not) that can be easily dropped in the middle of any campaign. Featuring:
     - Anedáin’s Tryptych: A Church relic was stolen, and the Inquisition will do anything to get it back. Will you stand in their way, or help them?
     - An Ancient Evil Awakens: Something stirs in the ruins below Abbot’s Hill. Will you save the town, or leave it before the Risen find you as well?
     - Sanctuary: A spark of hope and community has been lit in No Man’s Land. Will you defend it from the greed of men, or allow the world to become yet even darker?

Apologies, I didn't get notified about the comment. As for your question yes, you can definitely play Perplexing Ruin's or my content solo; the scenario written by Imad Otallah might be trickier, but if you're an experienced solo player you should be able to do so.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
