On page 129, the "Distract" psionic power has a range of "Self" but it states that it works on a single target. I'm guessing that this should be at least Close range, if not Far?

I've also noticed, that the HP Average for most monsters is wrong. It should be rounddown(LVL x 4.5) + CON bonus.

I've noticed that none of the monsters have attack bonuses listed. Is this intentional? What bonus should be used? Stat bonus or level?

Heyo, I'm happy to see you're using some of my stock art. But per my license you're supposed to provide me with a PDF copy.

It's the last bullet point in my license:
"You must provide a PDF copy of any title using my images. My DriveThruRPG email is jchart01@yahoo (you can also ask general questions here)."

I've not really attempted to enforce this until now and I'm noticing lots of folks are not sending me PDFs. LoL. Is this too onerous a request or are people just too busy to send the links? No animous is intended here, I'm genuinely curious. I need the sales more than I need the PDFs, but I just like to see how my customers are using my stuff. It gives me a feeling for what sort of work is selling and what the appeal is in various genres.

My question is, you used the ShadowDark RPG 3rd-party license to create this, but what is your policy on allowing others to use your work? Would it be appropriate for others to write and publish their own materials for this setting you've created?

Liking the read very much so far. However, on page 45: why is Brigandine equal to Studded Leather while costing twice as much? Am I missing something here?

It's a valiant attempt to bring back DS while deftly avoiding a WotC lawsuit, lol.

A few criticisms: it really needs an editing pass or two, specifically things a spell check can't nab. The spells/psi powers are oddly balanced (tier 1 spell that does 2d8 of damage, tier 2 spell that does 1d6 damage, etc). Some of the explanations for things seem weak--lizardfolk somehow breathe "air bubbles attached to sand" when they could have bio-filtration in their respiratory system that simply doesn't allow silt into their lungs (not unlike whales' baleen filter in concept). Sad to see there weren't more Barsoomian/swords & planet influences, which the original DS had (ShadowSun is more traditional fantasy). Wish the Shadowdark (the core game's underworld, the literal Shadowdark) was embraced more fully. There is no "all creatures possess psionic powers" concept here, to my regret, which I liked about DS. Wearing leather gloves gives a +1 to CHR checks with Nobility--??? Minor...See more things like these decrease the usefulness of the product, but considering it was executed entirely by 1 person, I suppose it's understandable.

Positives: strong attempt to keep to the 2-page spread for all topics/rules, per ShadowDark formatting. Interesting backstory for world creation/history. Defilers & preservers. Interesting additions to the equipment list (leather gloves notwithstanding, lol).

Only thing that would be nice to have is the map as separate file and a scale on the map. Any thoughts on this?
