Lost Echoes - Quickstart Demo

Lost Echoes is a space horror tabletop roleplaying game that you roleplay as a death-sentenced
or a thrown-away character who tries to survive in the space.

 You can play this game as a classic dungeoncrawl like OSR, or you can play it as a self-exploration game
like any PbtA games. Either way, space is dangerous and will drive the characters crazy at some point.

If you ever felt like a “wasted generation” or an “unwanted person” in your life,
maybe you are another Lost Echo and the fight and struggle in this game might
encourage you to fight against your demons as well.

QUICKSTART DEMO

I made this game for DriveThruRPG's #PocketQuest2023 event, within a strict time period and page limitation.
This book is just a simple example of what I'm planning to make for Lost Echoes.
Basically, you can play a game only by using this book, but Core Rulebook is on the way.

With YEAR ZERO ENGINE mechanics, you will fight against the enemies that lurks in the darkness,
you will explore yourself to either regain or find your purpose in life,
you will dive into action to survive through every kind of obstacles,
and you will try to obtain a new life.

CORE RULEBOOK

Thanks to all lovely people who support me and this project, I found more than enough motivation to
evolve this project into a whole new game, with Core Rulebook, adventures and supplements.
You will find a portion of what's on the way inside this Quickstart Demo book.
