The Astral Scarab - A fantasy flying machine

Are you bored of long journeys by horse?

Do you spend long boring weeks on the road hiking between dungeons only to clear them in an hour. Does the bard's singing travel songs get on your nerves, is the halfling asking "are we there yet?" again? You need to travel in style, you need to travel at speed, you need to fly.

The Astral Scarab is the lastest in steampunk or arcane innovation, powered by magic or coal or crystals or who knows what, this luxurious ship can sleep a crew of 30 or be crewed by as few as a handfull. It and can act as a mobile base for your party or a military transport for your war. Impress your enemies or allies alike when you land this outside the tavern.

Or maybe you long to travel the stars and planets, and need a vessel that can break orbit. The dark side of the 3rd moon is lovely this time of year, relax, put your feet up on a soothing low-g world, try the moon spirits.

Or prehaps you want a map of a crashed flying ship to explore, what horrors have moved in, and what happend to the alien inhabitents? Or maybe you have been recruited to steal/hijack/stow-away/smuggle/sabotage the ship as it carries out a diplomatic mission/war/trade/exploration. Or maybe you are hired as guards, no doubt a ship like this goes to dangerous places. I hear an odd acting tortle captain is hiring for a group of adventurers to join him as he flies the ship to explore a newly discoverd island.

These high resolution images (6000 pixels square) are super detailed maps and schematics for a flying ship that you could use in a fantasy, steampunk or quirky sci-fi setting or as flying ships of the DnD spelljammer setting. The maps show detailed rooms, inner workings and furnishings at the very highest level of detail, and include grid/hex markings for scale and battle map use. Use these maps as ships for your NPCs, as a location to explore or as a mobile base for your players to find, own and improve. The engineering deck shows workings for two engines that power legs and wings, but its up to you if the ship needs fuel to fly or taps into the psychic/magical/divine powers of its pilot. You could run a star trek like fantasy game or just use the ship to move between locations in your world. Players seem to love owning a vehicle like this, if you run a game like that, make them really earn it - maybe they have to complete some massive quest and the ship is a reward or maybe the steal/rescue/find the ship. Then to drive the campaign forwards, let them earn upgrades for the ship inside and out. Its not fitted with weapons in the plan, but there are hardpoints for very large front facing armourments and multiple windows that could be adapted. 

The white map has a 5ft square grid, the blueprint and parchment maps have 5ft hex grids, whichever you chose the maps should be importable into your favourite VTT, such as fantasy grounds or roll 20.
