About the adventure

Blood Castle includes a crazy castle and dungeon, inspired by Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythology series, in which cultists and flesh-twisted monsters dance wildly.

Old-School Essential

This module is designed for Old-School Essential and as a referee, you need to have at least one of the rules from Classic Adventure and Advanced Adventure.

Role level

This adventure is suitable for 3~6 PCs at level 1~2, but there are some monsters in the rules that are obviously impossible for PCs at this level to fight - in other words, Blood Castle encourages players to watch carefully, use tricks, avoid overly.

Campaign setting

Blood Castle can be set in any location on a remote mountain range known as the Black Mountains, and the main stage of the module, Blood Castle, is specifically located on a mesa in the mountains known as Wastelhawk Mountain.
