CLAIMED BY THE GOD THAT FEEDS

In early 2001, a few Agents of Delta Green face an evil too cruel to ignore. They can never turn back from what they see or what they must do to stop it. A night of death leaves them scarred forever. But even as one terror fades, another awakens.

The Agents find themselves beset by a power more frightful than Delta Green itself, a force beyond that hungers for unnatural death. A force that hunts horrors like a cat stalking prey. A force that has made the Agents the instruments of its ceaseless devourings.

God’s Teeth follows the Agents across nearly twenty years of dire history:

GO FORTH (2001): The Agents fall onto a long timeline of bitter choices and terrible repercussions.

THE LONG YEARS (2001–2016): The Agents are recruited into the new Delta Green, the official Program. Any number of scenarios might follow. The Agents are drawn to horrors.

RED THOUGHTS (2016): Repercussions from “Go Forth” swim to the surface of public awareness. The Agents must push them down again.

WHITE TEETH (2016): The Agents must seek victims who survived that awful night of “Go Forth” and became monstrous themselves, murderous youths who work to sharpen the Teeth.

THE SPIRAL (2016–2020): Terrors converge. The influence of the god that claims the Agents seems only to grow. An FBI tip signals another threat resurrected from the sins of the past.

THE HIDDEN GOD (2020): As the world embraces plague, the Agents must trace the consequences of their actions, confront impossible foes, and face the appalling force that cursed them.

I'm looking for more of this kind of stuff, but as far as I'm concerned, it can be even darker. I don't play the scenarios, so nothing is off-limits. Any suggestions?

If you don't play the scenarios, and you're looking for something darker, one suggestion would be to simply read dark horror novels

Podcast: Ghost Stories For The End of The World- they are finishing a 14 part series on Belgium in the 70's through the 90's. You want dark? I am writing a delta green scenario based on the events of that 20 year span. UNICEF is involved in real life. Marc Dutroux is almost certainly entangled in the UNICEF scandal

What will the evidence kit, "Delta Green Evidence Kit: God’s Teeth", contain exactly? Are the handouts provided in this book's accompanying zip file sufficient to run the campaign?

Yes. Technically, you wouldn't even need those handouts, since you can just describe things as a GM to your players, but those do cover some documents that are already in the book in a format that's a bit easier to share. For example, there is currently no visual representation of the infamous cartoon cat folder cover, but you don't need to show that to your players to run the campaign.

I cannot write a review, so consider this my review:

Caleb does something that few writers in RPGs are able to do. He takes the realist horrors of the world, such as extreme poverty and abuse, and finds interesting ways to make them a subject to explore the edges of, through play, without making it crass or exploitative. He does so with a flare for language and a sense for the horrific. Like Impossible Landscapes before it, this campaign deserves to be talked about in the same breath as "Masks of Nyarlathotep" and "The Enemy Within".

A strong contender for the best Cthulhu related scenario of the last 20 years!

I think they always include the pdf if you get the printed version. The Delta-Green website says every printed copy comes with the PDF download for free.

What is the difference between v2 and v3 files? I understand that both have the content warning added, which v1 didn't have, but they seem identical apart from the file size.

It's just the file size. V2 had no image compression so this is why it was so bloated.

This module is really good. It has a clear vision in mind for its horror, and gives great guidance on how to acheive it.
That being said, since this is not explicitly laid out in the summary of the module on DTRPG, it does involve the worst kinds of neglect, abuse, and exploitation of children as a key element of the plot. CSAM is never described in explicit detail, but it plays a large role in the campaign's inciting incident. This abuse is explicitly portrayed as deeply disturbing, exceedingly harmful, and with no moral justification.

I just figured I would write this down so that more people who would be buying God's Teeth without knowing that would be aware of it.

Thank-you. That's really helpful. Trigger warnings need to be placed where people can actually see them, and CSAM, or child abuse in general, is one of those things that really, really needs a warning.

I agree and while I'd still give this work 5 stars, I really think that this fact needs to be highlighted more clearly in the product description. Folks who are familiar with the original podcast or have followed the book's development will be aware of this content, but new purchasers might not be and it's somewhat irresponsible to not properly note these CWs.

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
