Land of Mist for Old-School Essentials

New classes and races include:

• Beastfolk - Fishers and foragers related to orcs, trolls and ogres.
• Desert Druids - Holy cleric scholars who seek truth and peace.
• Fairies - Fey of the deep Wildwoods.
• Foresters - Protectors of the woodlands.
• Gremlins - Mischievous city dwelling demihumans.
• Moon Drow - Illusionary nocturnal spell casters.
• Mystics - Transcendent martial arts warriors.
• Rakes - Swashbuckling adventurers.
• Bittles - Diminutive humans of the Lushglade rain forest.
• Brutes - Robust prehistoric humans.

New character options include:

• Enlightenment - Instructions for creating player characters from monsters of up to 4 Hit Dice.
• Hedgewitches - Add limited spell casting abilities to any character without the complexity of multiclassing.
• Lycanthropy - Simple options to play as a were-creature or other lycanthrope.
• Variant Human Races - Prehistoric Brutes and lilliputian Bittles share the class and level options of other humans, with their own special abilities and requirements.
• Cults - Established by the Immortals, religion and divine magic is practiced through one of the many cults in the Land of Mist.
• Totems - Choose a sacred totem for your character and gain the ability to summon your totem animal by sacrificing hit points (HP) for their life force.

New game play options presented:

• Underwater Adventuring - Take on the challenge of exploring the deep waters surrounding the islands and the Land within the Mist.
• Domain Management - An alternative and complementary system to that presented in Old-School Essentials allows players to optionally share in the privileges and responsibilities of ruling a domain, while earning gold, experience, and War Dice for use in mass combat.
• Mass Combat - A simple system for mass combat resolution, using Mass Combat Units. Units battle similarly to standard combat between characters, with options included for combat between units, characters, and monsters.
• Runes - Used for secret writing or to infuse objects with spells via Power Runes.
• Artifacts - Ancient magical constructs created by the Immortals, with powers and dangers beyond that of normal magic items.
• Dragon Riding - Mist Dragons are companion flying mounts, with their own abilities.
• Immortality - Found a cult and gain enough followers to ascend as an Immortal.
