The game is played on a 6x6 inch grid and is a so-called micro wargame. You progress from level to level of a heavily guarded corporate building, trying to fulfill the objectives of your Heist.

The game uses a unique Action roll system with two rerolls (Yatzee style) that you must tactically manage in your turn by using these dice to buy various actions and enhance them.

In the game, you can choose several ways to progress through each level, you can be stealthy or manipulate enemies or go all out with your entire arsenal.

Permanently improve your character from Heist to Heist with cyberware and try to complete Heists in the buildings of the most influential and dangerous megacorporations.

Hi, I’m having fun running my first heist but am running into a few rules clarity issues:

1) An enemy is still in the patrol phase and turns to face my character. However, my character is behind partial cover. Is the enemy alerted, or is it assumed that the character is hiding behind the low cover?

2) An enemy is still in the patrol phase. I make a melee attack from behind the enemy, however I fail to KO them. How does the enemy react to this? Does this trigger the alert?

I'm excited to get this to the table, but I have a question about a sentence that seems to be missing some words. Under SNEAK on page 7, it says "This Action not raise Alertness when crossing an Enemy's Line of
Sight"

I am assuming this is supposed to say "This Action does not raise Alertness except when crossing an Enemy's Line of Sight".

Is that correct? This makes sense to me - they won't hear you if you're sneaking, but if you cross their line of sight they will see you anyway.

This game is a little jewel! I know it's supposed ti be a solo game, but what could I do if I wanted to play with my gf or a couple friends? I guess upping enemy Action Dice and increasing the amount of Intel needed in order to complete the Heist would be enough?

The site won't let me rate/review so I'll put it here. Give it a 4* since it's my first and I don't have anything else to compare it to (little D&D and WH40K experience, no solo games). Decided to also pick up the author's other game ENTITY. Took me a bit to get the rules down (I assume that's usually the case). Had a lot of fun running my first Heist! Definitely worth the price!

Spent last night watching the videos and reading through the rules. Attempted my first heist today (successful). I haven't reviewed it yet. I would like to say it felt well balanced, but I ran into a couple rules questions and think I made a few incorrect assumptions. I'll play it some more and see if my questions are cleared up and then post a review. I also found some typos here and there. Fun so far!

Question:

Awareness - Entering an enemy's Line of Sight... immediately trigger the Alert (pg. 13)

Enemy moves to column I'm in, facing away. Enemy has to rotate clockwise twice. First rotation, enemy rotates facing me. Second (last) rotation, enemy is facing away.

Does the enemy "see" me on the first rotation, not finish rotating, and trigger immediate Alert. Or, does enemy not "see" me, since it ends on second rotation facing away, and I didn't move (to enter) its Line of Sight?

Today i tried to be though guy and raid the "the collective" and i rolled out Cyborgs. I wiped in second turn. I run there with sidearm, shotgun and optical camouflage from prep missions. There were moments when i felt like i am playing a puzzling game. If you will have some time to share with me your runs please feel free to post it here.

Ran OmniSense, new character, second playthrough. Lobby: snuck through and got 5 Intel. Offices: got in a gun battle with my sidearm, killed 3 Soldiers, took a hit, and got 4 Intel. Adding preparation 3 Intel (total 12), Heist complete!

Running through my first preparation and ran into a snag. I think I have the latest update. When you roll on the Fixed Reward table option 10 says “Gain Cyberware with a total cost of 4 or less”, but the cheapest Cyberware is 25.

Oh, thank you James, its not cyberware its combination of Gear and Weapons. Very good catch. Previously the cyberware was not a permanent upgrade and had lower costs. Thank you i will fix that.

Hi all, please let me update you with new reuploads. I added Single Page pdf, seperate Character sheet and Printer friendly Miniature and Grid spread (I added little bit of grey to grid for better aesthetics and orientability). And last but not least, i nerfed one action. DISTRACTION: Single: Rotate 1 enemy 90° clockwise. This Action increases Alertness by 1. (Instead of turn Enemy to any direction).

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
