Caustic Depths

Your ship is on route to a mining colony on the barren dwarf planet Kipsin-9 near the edge of chartered space. Omnisynth Solutions treats its employees like indentured labor, never paying enough to escape an ever-growing debt needed to pay for the bare necessities of life at the commissary. If a future of debt slavery wasn't bad enough, the situation is made even worse by the continuous outbreaks of Lung Rash, a respiratory disease caused by off-gassed bacteria in the rock that starts as a cough but eventually feels like drowning in your own blood. You have been contracted by Omnisynth to deliver the most recent shipment of the pharmaceutical AeroventABX needed to treat the symptoms of the disease but not cure it. Tensions on the base are high, as a number of miners have recently disappeared in the depths of the mine, and the administration is raising the price of Aerovent to unaffordable levels. Caustic Depths is a module for the Mothership Tabletop RPG. Within these 16 pages Wardens and Players alike find danger in the form of corporate greed, criminal conspiracy, a debilitating and fatal illness, and even a xenoform that can be stirred for added danger. There are no good guys here, everyone is both victim and villian with an agenda, be it survival or riches.  Suitable for either a one shot or short series of 2-5 game sessions.
