Lyre Costilla Chandonnet Presents - Somnus Domina - Retia, the Land of Industry

Dead Saint Record is an expansion book intended to be used either with base 5th Edition Dungeons & Dragons or with Nat19’s 19th Edition rule sub-set.

The book focuses on the lore and history of the Sword Saint, and themes surrounding it in Somnus Domina. It includes information about the history of Sword Saints, notable holders of the title, the gods and heroes associated with them, and much more.

Beyond that, it also features all of the following to expand your game (all of which are based on the themes of loyalty, self-discovery, and honor):

Hello there, absolutely loving the book given it's focus on themes i quite enjoy but i once again have a question about favored soul things, mainly a clarification for myself, with their neoblade armament when they reach level 5 would they be able to do the additional shortsword attack twice when they take the attack action and attack with the longsword or is it only once and additionally i assume despite both weapons gaining whatever benefits one essence armament would get buffing spells like infused weapon would still only apply to one of the weapons as normal?

Both swords are separate weapons as far as buffing, support spells, and such go, but as per Neoblade Armament, they can make the attack with the shortsword once per action (so if you attack twice with the longsword as part of an Attack action, you can attack with the shortsword once as part of that Attack action, but in theory can also use your bonus action to attack with it off-hand. This also means you can attack with it once as part of the Attack action from effects like Haste).

I had a feeling that might have been the case but wished to make sure just in case as the mention of each time you make any attack had me second guessing it but at least it's cleared up now, though the mention of haste does have me curious, would the bonus action attack from Latency State trigger the additional attack as well or would it not due to it simply being a bonus action?

Any time you attack with the longsword you can attack with the shortsword as part of that action. It doesn't matter what type of action it is. it could be a bonus action or reaction as well.

Hello, got two questions and they both involve your splash books and Lyre's Guide as a whole.

First, do any of the books contain any AI art? The art I can see looks amazing but just wanted to make sure and ask just incase there's any AI art within the book itself that's not shown on store page.

2nd, were these books designed around 5e compatibility of 2014 or 2024 versions of D&D?

These books contain no AI art (nor is it used in any capacity in their production), and it was designed for the 2014 iteration of 5th-Edition.

I have some questions with the pdf I've downloaded as of today.

College of Likeness-some masks are based on your class level. If you use them on an ally that is a non-bard through Joint Anamcohla, they get "zero plus five" or "1d8 plus nothing". Is this intended?

Rush to Defend does not specify the additional damage tied to this retributive strike. This ability needs clarification as two separate effects.

Breaking Fist-yes you changed the downgraded d6 to higher damage die, but at 10 and 18 level, you get the same thing. Why specify twice? Is it supposed to be a d12 (or 2d6) at 18th?

Dragoneer-how dare you show us a tease :) Lookin pretty neato. I haven't seen someone in a long time try to do "subclass dictates all core features like Hit Dice, Saves, Proficiencies, etc." I've seen something similar like the Sovereign by T. Pounds. Very cool, can't wait.

Love the obligatory Senbonzakura spell btw.

If by Senbonzakura you mean Zanjen Realm, that's actually a reference to a whole bunch of things at once lol Mostly UBW. I'm glad you like it.

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
