I've been running this game with some newer players recently, and seeing them eat this game up has been awesome. The first couple sessions starting a 5e or pathfinder game can be brutal with even experienced players. At my first session with this game, we had characters and were playing in 30 minutes. The rules and characters are so simple that you can afford to make homebrew abilities powerful without breaking the game. This game has let my group let go of RAW, and we have embraced the actual fun part of ttrpgs.
This stuff is sweet!

An absolutely fantastic take on TTRPGs blending the best ideas from the past and great new innovations sure to breathe life into your game table, regardless of your primary game system! A game full of fun and simplicity for people who just want to play!

I'm fascinated with the world of HARD SUIT and the rules are so simple and easy to get into. I don't have a 3D Printer, but I would love to buy the miniatures. It's a shame there's not much marketing and advertisement for Hard Suit, more people need to know about this Mecha game. I would love to see it expanded with more books and I personally would love to see a stand-alone setting book with more Hard Suit designs and arts and more tables and expanded lores. There is so much potential with this universe.

A cornucopia of awesome! Each of the twelve issues contained in HEX are gems of their own hue. Cazaban's Grimoire is both excellent inspiration for C&S spells but also a novel take on the "random effect item" a la rod of wonder. The Crown and Skull GM is a wonderful guide to making your personal GM style fit the flavor you want for your campaign. And the adventures...clear, imaginative, and easily mod-able.
As with all Runehammer products, this is a joy to read and gives me so much inspiration to plan, write, and play TTRPGs.

Hi big fan of runnehammer games
I bought this expantion mainly for the boardgame mode
But i felt it was the weakest on this module
- missing rules on fear checks and what happens when you fail
-some unnecesary skills like pilot doesnt have a use on the board game mode
-a lot of character sheets could be cumbersome, it whould help if there was index card size charcter sheet, also cards for equipment

Great add on to EZD6 core rules! Simple rules system, but you do a lot with this. Now has an EXPERIENCE SYSTEM!!! Your characters can level up. Folks wanted this from core rules. Now you got it right here. Sean Bova's art is fantastic as always.

A great game for one shots. My group -- a mix of grognards who've played everything and dilettantes who mainly know old school D&D -- had a great time with this. It's a bit limited for extended campaigns, as there is not much room for character improvement and such. But it's fantastic for pick up games. Worth checking out even if you only play a few times.

Curious on why the PDF is over 110 MB? I think it's kinda big compared to other game PDFs. For example WotC Basic D&D rules are like 11MB.
Can we get a reduced PDF to make it a bit more accessible please?
Still five fucking stars though!

Love ICRPG. Feels like it lays bare the core mechanics and levers actually used in a pulpy adventure games and makes them clear to players and game runners. I love how I can explain it all to non-RPG players and help them make a cool character in minutes and get right into the adventure.
Even if you never play ICRPG itself, the plug and play rules for other systems are great and versatile and there's a masterclass worth of game-running advice prevented in a clean, fun vernacular.

This is the first TTRPG I've played. I've watched lots of DnD online, but never liked the crunchy rules. Decided to try EZD6 using Mythic GM Emulator after watching lots of reviews online.
I LOVE this system. The rules are easy to grasp and still allow for complex play. Characters feel heroic and the combat mechanics raise the stakes for each fight. Awesome moments are plentiful, especially due to the crit mechanics.

I've been using this book for years (and just got around to reviewing it)! Everything about this system is great! At base, it's a 'beer and pretzels' kind of game where you can get started and play within 10 minutes. Creating a character is as easy as 5 steps and takes no more than 5-6 minutes, plus the tables at the end of the book can help generate an adventure and/or a couple monsters in less than 10 minutes.
On top of that, it's super customizable and compatible with every adventure out there up to (and including) D&D 3e. If it rolls a D20 and higher is better, you can use it with ICRPG.
The GM section in this book is nothing short of masterclass and changed the way I DM forever.
I am not even exaggerating here. You can check out Runehammer's youtube channel if you doubt that statement (go for the older videos for a treasure trove of DM advice and tricks).
If you still have any doubts, go grab the quickstart, it's $0 and has 2/3 of this book, it's an AMAZING value for money.

EZD6 has rapidly become one of my favorite systems for running a fantasy RPG.
EZD6 is quick to pick up, yet has enough depth to be a lot of fun for the DM & players. EZD6 has all the classes you would expect from a fantasy RPG - each with their own unique abilities.
I am not a huge fan of the money / equipment system for EZD6, however I just ported in the system from another rpg and it works great.
All in all, I really recommend EZD6 for a rules lite / quick play fantasy rpg.

Fantastic fun and fast game. Probably the best GMs guide I've ever seen too. If I could only have one game, this would be it.

Awesome RPG system. Super fun! I use rules and ideas from ICPRG in every game I run regardless of the system.

I really enjoy this system! I can see how I can modify rules to become more advanced or crunchy. But I also love how it simply lays out the rules of play. The GM tips are just as good as people have touted and I am excited to take the things I have gleaned from here to my other games.
