It is a solid product that has some quick drop in NPCs for the lazy GM and have a story build in for it or some seeds for world building. But i feel it is two high a price for what you get.

This came in a pinch when I needed a quick fight after a couple hours of Roleplaying. The classic rats in a basement gave my players a run for their money, and they literally spent 10 minutes fighting over who was going to keep the egg item. The other module (Devouring ooze) was adapted into the next room for story/lore and now it's lead to a unexpected BBEG origin.

The files were easy to download and were quick to reference. I'll keep this in my back pocket the next time I need a sudden boss fight.

A great way to introduce your players to a new town, scratch that heist itch, or if you want to expand on your rogues edgy backstory. Midnight Mayhem has tons of NPCs, items and maps to make DM'ing a breeze. With a little prep this could be ran at lower levels, but overall your players will have plenty of choices on how to go about the Festival of Lights.
