Buyer Beware! Purchased this bundle specifically for use with Fantasy Grounds Unity (FGU). I had filtered specifically for FGU, and Virtual Tabletop. While the content may be acceptable for IRL games, half the content is missing the MOD files needed for FGU. Now, instead of spending time with friends and family, IF I decide to use this content, I'll be building maps, npcs, and anything else needed to run it. It wouldn't have been a big deal had there been a note indicating that not all the MOD files were available, but I saw nothing that indicated missing content. Also, the PDF's are in a weird format, so expect to spend hours fixing them if you don't have a word processing software to fix and import that. I fully expected to be updating some content, and tweaking it for the party I'm running. I did not expect to basically rewrite the content. I don't pretend to be overly competent with FGU, and that's one of the reasons I wanted to buy a pre-made module.

This is definitely an underrated setting for DnD as a whole. I hope 5e brings something like this back using the Bastion system.
My review isn't of the Birthright setting but this download. Where are my maps? The original setting included them, why not this product? I didn't see where it says the maps were or were not included. So the cost should have been less with a note of omission.
Best setting ever, not so good for the product download.
If they add the maps (and yes there are images online) I will change my rating.

The digital copy is very blurry and near impossible to read, I would like a better copy or a refund.

BEWARE! Just found out that this is an on demand reprint and not an original. NO WHERE in the description does it indicate this! I would not have purchased it if I knew it was a reprint.

Brilliant trip back in time to the days of my youth! Bought the PDF, but when will this be available as a print on demand? I want it up there on my bookshelf with the other books in this series! :)

My POD copy arrived today, six weeks earlier than promised and in beautiful condition. Great job, DriveThruRPG!

This is truly the world's greatest roleplaying game. Going from 5e to 1e has been life changing.

The quality of POD is pretty astounding. Apart from from not having the original cover this really feels like an actual Monster Manual from the good ole days. I didn't even choose the deluxe version.

The book is good print quality, however would have been 5* if maps and others were pull out like the original

I live in the far north and availability is an issue when it comes to physical copies, particularly of an old set of tabletop rulebooks. Having a physical copy in my hands has been fantastic as I've had the PDF versions for a long time and have read through the boxed set rules several times but the print copy is so handy to have. I've seen a few critiques here that said the printing was poorly done, but my copy turned out perfect so maybe they just got unlucky. I would suggest to anyone purchasing this set to look through the PDF and print the cards and other things for maximum enjoyment.

Excellent 1e adventure which also gives insights into Greyhawk as well as some of the personages therein.

It is what you expect as far as the contents are concerned. Don't bother with the PoD as Drivethru's quality has gone down hill lately.

I just enjoyed the combat of 4e so much! I own all of the editions of Dungeons and Dragons, and 4th edition is one of my favorites. I know there are hatters for every edition, but the combat in 4e with miniatures and tiles was epic. I give this 4 stars.
